Sam Je, DMD- Your Family’s Dedicated Implant Dentist
For Dr. Je, being a dentist is about three things: helping others, making an impact on the community, and continual learning. He loves having the opportunity to make significant, positive changes in his patients' health and confidence while also building relationships and supporting the community as a whole. On top of this, dentistry is eternally interesting because the techniques and technology are always evolving. Altogether, this makes Dr. Je extremely motivated to come to our office each day and make a difference for everyone who walks through our doors.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Je played various musical instruments growing up, including piano and violin, which helped him develop fine motor skills. As a result, he always excelled at tasks requiring detailed hand precision. Dentistry, being a surgical field, demands excellent dexterity to deliver safe and high-quality treatment. So for him, becoming a dentist was his aspiration since he began pursuing a career in the medical field during his first two years of college.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Je received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine.
He has since completed extensive continuing education with a strong focus on dental implants, having dedicated hundreds of hours to this specialized field. He is currently a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Je also holds certifications in Invisalign and dental laser treatment.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Je was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, moved to the USA in 2008, and became a Texan in 2018. He met his wife while in dental school, and they welcomed their son in 2023. When he isn’t spending quality time with them, he likes to stay involved in his church.
